- Pasta – 1 cup
- Boneless chicken – 2 pieces
- Onion – 1, finely chopped
- Carrot – 1/2, finely chopped
- Garlic cloves – 2, finely chopped
- Green capsicum – 1/2, finely chopped
- Milk – 1 cup
- All-purpose flour – 1 tablespoon
- Red chili flakes – 1/4 tablespoon
- Parmesan cheese or Mozzarella cheese, as required
- Mint leaves, for garnishing
- SunRight Sunflower oil – 1 tablespoon
- Butter – 1 tablespoon
- Pepper (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
In a pan, add the required amount of water to cook the chicken and bring it to boil. Then add chicken pieces to the boiled water. Add pepper and salt to taste. Cook the chicken for around 10 to 15 minutes. Strain the water and then chop the chicken into small pieces. Keep this chopped chicken aside. In another bowl, add water and bring to boil. Add SunRight sunflower oil and salt. Then add pasta and cook for about 15 minutes. Strain the water and keep it aside. To prepare white sauce, first, heat a pan and then add butter. Add chopped garlic to it and saute until lightly browned. Then add all-purpose flour and stir continuously till the raw smell of the flour goes. Add milk in 3 batches and mix continuously till a thick paste is formed. Add salt to the paste and bring to boil. Keep the sauce aside. Heat butter in a pan and saute finely chopped onions. Add capsicum and carrot and saute it. Then add chopped chicken pieces and white sauce to it and mix well. Add some water and boiled pasta to the mixture. Cook for about 5 – 10 minutes. Add chili flakes, oregano, pepper, and salt to taste. Your yummy white sauce chicken pasta is now ready to serve. Transfer the pasta to a serving bowl. You can sprinkle mozzarella cheese over it and garnish with mint leaves. You can also use sliced mushrooms instead of chicken for a vegetarian version.
