Try Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Sunright refined sunflower oil

Ingredients Needed:

  • Sunright refined Sunflower oil
  • 1/2 half Kg chicken breast , cut into 8 pieces
  • 1 teaspoon freshly crushed black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 Cups buttermilk
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon honey

Method of preparation:

  • Toss together chicken pieces on all purpose flour with black pepper, white pepper, chilli powder, salt, honey, garlic powder, onion powder and coat the mixture on the chicken
  • Now pour curd over chicken and mix well and refrigerate it for 6 hours or over night
  • Again coat the mixture with flour and shake off excess and keep it ready for frying
  • Now in a large pan , heat Sunright refined sunflower oil and fry the chicken pieces to golden brown on both sides
  • After frying place the chicken on paper towel to let the excess oil drain.
  • Serve it hot with mayonnaise and sauce.
