Try Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Sunright refined sunflower oil
Ingredients Needed:
- Sunright refined Sunflower oil
- 1/2 half Kg chicken breast , cut into 8 pieces
- 1 teaspoon freshly crushed black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 Cups buttermilk
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon honey
Method of preparation:
- Toss together chicken pieces on all purpose flour with black pepper, white pepper, chilli powder, salt, honey, garlic powder, onion powder and coat the mixture on the chicken
- Now pour curd over chicken and mix well and refrigerate it for 6 hours or over night
- Again coat the mixture with flour and shake off excess and keep it ready for frying
- Now in a large pan , heat Sunright refined sunflower oil and fry the chicken pieces to golden brown on both sides
- After frying place the chicken on paper towel to let the excess oil drain.
- Serve it hot with mayonnaise and sauce.
